The position is full-time, in office, M-F, 9:00-5:30. Familiarity with Land F/X and Lumion is a plus. Requirements include proficiency in design, graphic communication, methods, materials, and detailing AutoCAD Adobe CS (InDesign, Illustrator and SketchUp) and Microsoft (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Responsibilities will include close collaboration with the principal and design team to produce plans from schematic design through construction documents, participation in client and stakeholder presentations, and site visits for analysis and observation. We place a high value on attention to detail, critical thinking, and a strong comprehension of the design process. The candidate should be self-motivated and thorough, and communicate effectively with clients, subconsultants, and contractors. The ideal candidate has a degree or certificate in landscape architecture, is licensed or pursuing licensure, and has at least 5 years’ experience at a design firm.

Our studio is located in the historic Helms Bakery District. Current projects are located in Palm Springs, greater Los Angeles, and the Bay Area, ranging from private gardens to historic parks.
